I was looking through my files..then i came across this poem that i wrote fer *him for Valentine's Day.Heh.Thought i'd just post it up along with the other poems i wrote thereafter.Heh.Anyways,i bought L word season one.its superbly HOTTTT.STEAMY LOOKING.SCANDALOUS.oh mann.Cant wait to watch it!!!!!=] From Me to You Sitting in my bedroom, Not knowing what to do, So, I decided to write down all my feelings, And make it a poem- from me to you. 'Cause when I'm with you, I never feel any pain, All I have to do is see your smile, And then I'm happy again. I don't see you every day, But that's the way it's gotta be. Just knowing you are there Is good enough for me. You've hugged me when I'm ill, You've hugged me when I've cried, You've helped me through the hardest times, Without even a sigh. You're always on my mind, No matter what I do, Wherever I go, Whatever I see...It always leads back to you. I hope you have enjoyed reading This poem I wrote for you. I know it sounds cheesy, But I...love you. My Happy Ending You never said you were leaving me, You didn't even say goodbye, All you ever said was "this isn't going to work out." You didn't even give me an explanation, Although you did break my heart in half. The day has come and gone when we both let it show. Somewhere inside us, It was a day we knew we had it coming. Though I didn't expect soon to be so soon. Something we both knew but didn't say. Everything felt so right yet, so wrong I wanted things to keep going But. I knew you didn't. Still, I let my heart take control over my mind. You say you didn't know what to say to me anymore. So, I knew things were going to stop. I didn't know what to do. I tried bottling up. Guess I lost it all, When the alcohol got the better of me. You said you're sorry, I'm a nice girl and let's be good friends. But now, when I talk to you It seems as if it all had to end. Well I guess you didn't feel what I felt, All I have to say is Farewell. Farewell to all the good times I had, Walking with you, talking with you, Basically everything I did with you. Cause its nothing but memories now. Chapter closed. Cheers! Don't say.. Don't say you love me, IF you're only gonna break my heart. Cause I'm fragile. Don't say you need me, IF we're only going to fall apart. Cause when I need you, I don't feel you. Don't say forever, IF you're only having the HOTS for me now. Because forever really makes me cry. Don't say hello, IF you really mean goodbye. Because everything seemed so right at the start. But in the end, Look at how we've drifted apart. |
